First appointment questions

Do I need a referral?

Not for most conditions — you can refer yourself. If you have a GP or consultant letter, or a scan report, bring it: it saves time at the assessment. Insurers usually do require a referral, so check your policy first.

What will it cost?

£70 for the initial assessment and £52 per session thereafter; women's health is £76 and £58. Fees are published here and do not change once treatment has started. We invoice after each session.

How soon can I be seen?

One to three weeks depending on the condition. Post-surgical rehabilitation and respiratory referrals are prioritised, with slots held each day.

What should I wear?

Something that lets us reach the area being treated: shorts or leggings for a knee or hip, a vest top for a shoulder. There is a changing cubicle if you would rather come straight from work.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us twenty-four hours and the slot goes to someone else, at no charge. Later than that and the session is charged, because it cannot be filled.

Is the practice accessible?

Yes — step-free from the street, no internal stairs, and rooms sized for a wheelchair. Two reserved spaces are outside the entrance.
