Spiral in oak and blackened steel

Forming an opening and replacing a steep cottage stair.

A 42-degree stair, unusable with your arms full.

Central steel spine, 45 mm oak treads, compliant cable balustrade.

Windows

Eight timber-aluminium windows, occupied house

A 1972 house, original single glazing, family in residence.

Swollen frames, two windows that no longer closed.

Wardrobe under a sloping ceiling, loft conversion

Restoring a herringbone floor
